Greenhead

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 September 2026

This is written to be read, not to protect anyone from anything. If

something here is unclear, ask.

The short version

Greenhead stores your hunting plans, the places you hunt, photos you

take, and what you shoot. It uses your location to find nearby

properties and weather. It sends what you type, and any photos you

attach, to Anthropic's Claude to generate advice.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your hunting spots with other

users. There is no advertising.

What we collect

Location. Used to find surveyed properties near you and the right

weather and season zone. Collected only while the app is open, never in

the background. Your coordinates are sent with a question so the answer

is about where you are; they are stored on the message so you can see

later what a piece of advice was based on.

What you write. Your questions and the assistant's answers, stored

so conversations continue where you left off and so you can look back at

past hunts.

Photos you take in the app. Blind, decoy spread and bird photos are

uploaded to private storage and sent to Claude for analysis. They are

visible only to you. They are not used to train any model.

Hunts and harvest. Dates, properties, blinds, party size, and the

birds you log.

Crash reports. When something goes wrong we record the error, where

in the app it happened, your app version and device platform. We do not

include the content of your messages or your photos.

Account. By default your account is anonymous - no email, no name,

no password. It exists only to keep your data yours.

What we do not collect

and we never see card numbers)

Who your data is shared with

Anthropic (Claude). Your question, relevant survey and weather data,

and any photo you attach are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a

response. Anthropic's API terms state that data submitted through the

API is not used to train their models.

Supabase. Our database and file storage provider. Your data lives in

their infrastructure in the United States.

The National Weather Service and state wildlife agencies. We read

from them. We never send them anything about you.

That is the complete list. No advertisers, no data brokers, no analytics

companies.

Your hunting spots

Hunting locations are sensitive and we treat them that way. Your hunts,

blinds, plans and photos are visible only to your account, enforced at

the database level rather than only in the app.

If we add a social or sharing feature, it will be off by default and

sharing will be something you do deliberately, one item at a time. We

will not publish your spots for you.

How long we keep things

Your hunts, conversations and photos are kept until you delete them or

ask us to delete your account. Planning conversations you never turn

into a hunt may be removed after 90 days of inactivity. Crash reports

are kept for a year.

Deleting your data

Ask, and we will delete your account and everything attached to it. As

the app grows this will become a button; today it is an email, and it

will be honoured.

Children

Greenhead is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly

collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app will tell you

before the change takes effect. Quietly editing this page is not

something we will do.
